Universitas Islam Riau is committed to always provide supports for its students to make theirs achievements and to be bright with their talents

WINNING GOLD AND BRONZE AT PON PAPUA AND THE FOUR STUDENTS AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP

It was privileged for UIR that four of its students represented Riau province at PON ( National Sports Competition) in 2022 in Papua. The students won 2 gold medals and 2 bronze medals in Sambo, archery, fencing and skates. The momentum was seen as the right timing for UIR to appreciate the students through awarding scholarship by which was expected to drive other students motivated in creating other achievements.

The students awarded scholarships were Agus Sapri from Information and Technology Department winning gold in Sambo, Dwi Angga Mayudha from Management Department winning gold in Fencing, Muhammad Afdi from Physical Education Department winning bronze in archery and Tengku Anggito Wicaksono from Law Department winning bronze in skate.

UNIVERSITAS ISLAM RIAU ROCKETED FROM 179 TP 105 IN SIMKATMAWA 2021

Sistem Informasi Menajemen Pemeringkatan Kemahasiswaan (SIMKATMAWA) – Management Information System on Students Rangking- by the Indonesian ministry of education, research, culture and technology announced that UIR was at 105 university in Indonesia based on the report of students participation at national and international level, either on academic or non-academic achievements and the university as the media to support the development of students talents. It is an achievement for UIR as its part to support the development of its students.

UIR AT 120 PLACE OF THE BEST ISLAMIC UNIVERSITIES IN THE WORLD ACCORDING UNIRANK 2021

Unirank is an international university ranking survey body based in Sydney, Australia and releases its survey annually. Universitas Islam Riau is proudly be placed at 120 out of 408 Islamic universities. Unirank bases the criteria on officially accredited in its country, offering four years undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate program and conducting good teaching learning forms either face-to-face or online.
